This flag box is made of solid imported African Mahogany with true mitered corners. This display with fit a 3 ft. x 5 ft. flag made of cotton, nylon, or what ever your flag is made of. The total outside dimensions measure 17 in. width x 20 1/2 in. height x 2 5/8 in. depth. We have a 3/8 in. lip on the inside so that where the edge of the flag and mat meets the wood is hidden making for a cleaner look when displaying your flag and certificate. We use solid glass for the front , so no worries of scratching or yellowing are necessary. The back is hard board and removable, so the flag can be inserted. It also has a saw tooth hanger on the back for hanging on the wall or the display may be sat on a book shelf or any other flat surface. The certificate holder comes with mat that is cut to hold
